One of VEGA’s great novelties in Jigging for 2025 is the TSURI SLOW PITCH range of rods. This series, dedicated to Slow Pitch, was designed for fisheries where it was necessary to have a high quality, light, but very robust rod, capable of obtaining high performance in strong slow pitch jigging fishing where most rods are not able to withstand the use of samples that can work at great depths with strong side currents.

This is the model of this series for casting/slow pitch jigging reels. This version is suitable for animating jigs, inchikus, kaburas or vinyl of considerable weight.

The thin blank of this model with moderate action, minimizes the twisting of the rod, and increases its resistance without prejudice to its extreme lightness. The tip of this model, very sensitive for the power in which it fits, allows us to achieve precise and very sensitive movements, even at great depths.

This cane was manufactured with one of the best carbons on the world market, UHMC (Ultra High Modulus Carbon), a carbon that guarantees the combination of lightness, power, sensitivity and has a resistance to “hellish” bending. This version for casting reels has a vertical action of 150-400 grams and a curve test of 15 kg., with a “feather” weight of 135 grams!

The dowels and reel holders of this model are FUJI, and the dowels are mounted in a spiral way, a specific assembly that allows the reversal of the dowels progressively on the blank. This process aims to rotate the guides of the “cane head” like those of a spinning rod in order to avoid any entanglement around the tip during animations, something common in another type of assembly.
