One of VEGA’s great novelties in the field of Jigging is the POTENZA STEED range of rods. This series, dedicated to Slow Pitch, was designed for fishing where it was necessary to have a high quality, light, but very POWERFUL rod, capable of obtaining a high performance in strong slow pitch jigging fishing where most rods do not have the capacity to withstand the use of samples that can work at great depths with strong side currents.

This model presents two distinct actions and is suitable for animating jigs, inchikus, kaburas or vinyl of considerable weight.

The thin blank of this model with moderate action, minimizes the twisting of the rod, and increases its resistance without prejudice to its extreme lightness. The tip of this model, very sensitive for the power in which it fits, allows us to achieve precise and very sensitive movements, even at great depths.

This cane was manufactured with one of the best carbons on the world market, UHMC (Ultra High Modulus Carbon), a carbon that guarantees the combination of lightness, power, sensitivity and has a resistance to “hellish” bending. This version features two models, one with an action of 150-260 grams and a curve test of 15 kg., and another with an action of 200-350gr. with a 20kg curve test.
