The French fishing technique, also known as “Au Coup” or Roubaisienne, is one of the most classic and popular in international sport fishing, maintaining its essence, in terms of greater effectiveness both in concealment with much more sensitive setups, and in the significant control it transmits to the fisherman of the movement of the fish in the fishing ground, being especially used in freshwater fishing for carp and in sea and estuary fishing for mullets.

These rod models, due to the fact that they do not use reels, allow a direct and passionate fight with the fish, making it really challenging and exciting to fish in this aspect, as the contact with fish, even small ones, make the moment of capture a unique and epic moment, transmitting a sensational fishing pleasure.

In the creation of this economic model, suitable for beginners in the “direct fishing” modality, we focused on the idea of covering the general needs of the initiation of this modality, creating 6 sizes, from 3 to 8 meters in length.

This model was manufactured with HTC (High Tensile Fiber), a very resistant and elastic fiber, capable of withstanding intense efforts, thus maintaining perfect control of the fish at the time of its capture.

In this new version for 2025, even though it is an initiation range, we present a greater lightness of each length, so that it is more comfortable to fish for several hours of this modality.
