The evolution of the eging modality led VEGA to think about creating a more technical and precise rod for the modality, which would be even lighter and more sensitive, but made of high modulus carbon, in order to provide this model with a higher quality than the overwhelming majority of rods of this modality.

The Vega Sephia XTune is therefore a fishing rod specially designed for the practice of egiving, however it can do light fishing in estuary to chumbadinha where its performance is incredibly high due to its sensitivity that allows it to detect the slightest touch. This model was tested by our team of consultants in order to ensure that the concept for which it was created would be on point. Their precision and sensitivity, essential characteristics for anglers looking for efficiency in eging, were their key points during the fisheries in which they were tested.

As they are more technical rods, our option was to create 2 sizes (2.30 mt. and 2.50 mt.), which allow us to have the necessary versatility in this modality and guarantee us that it is allowed to get the most out of its characteristics.

This model comes with an action of 20-130 grams (vertical action), which allows us to cover practically all the needs of cephalopod fishing in estuary or sea.

The Vega Sephia XTune is made of High Modulus Carbon, comes equipped with SIC guides and ergonomic tubular reel holders. Its ultra-light weight of only 140 gr. in the 2.30 mt model. and 155 grams in the 2.50 mt. model, make this model a luxurious option for real lovers of this fantastic sport.
