The need to manufacture a rod capable of defying the greatest adversities in “difficult and challenging” fisheries, led to the creation of this model, focused on fishing for croaker and other large fish.

Fishing in areas such as estuaries or rocky areas often leads to the need to have a larger and more powerful rod. This model is specific for fishermen who need to use high range sinkers (150 to more than 200 grams) or who need to cast bulky and heavy baits such as cuttlefish, sardines and whole double-hulled crabs.

Most specific surfcasting rods lose performance when casting this type of baits, something that was tested on this model for months in order to ensure that we brought to the market a rod that was really adapted to these needs.

The VEGA SPECIAL CORVINA was manufactured with HTC (High Tensile Carbon), carried a PTR (Power Tape Reinforcement), comes equipped with FUJI MN guides, and tubular reel carriers.

Our focus on offering the customer a rod with Fuji dowels was designed due to the need to withstand such high efforts in these types of fishing, which can lead to passers-bys not being able to withstand the efforts.
