One of VEGA’s great novelties in Jigging for 2025 is the TSURI SLOW PITCH range of rods. This series, dedicated to Slow Pitch, was designed for fisheries where it was necessary to have a high quality, light, but very robust rod, capable of obtaining high performance in strong slow jigging fishing where most rods are not able to withstand the use of samples that can work at great depths with strong side currents.

These are the two models in this series for the use of traditional fixed reel reels. Despite being a rod designed for Slow pitch fishing in the open sea in the fishing of snappers, lilies, croaker, bass and other predators, the 182S model can be used to fish in estuaris for large fish such as croaker. These two versions are suitable for animating jigs, inchikus, kaburas or vinyl of considerable weight.

The thin blank of these models with moderate action, minimizes the twisting of the rod, and increases its resistance without prejudice to its extreme lightness. The tip of this model, very sensitive for the power in which it fits, allows us to achieve precise and very sensitive movements, even at great depths.

This series of rods has been manufactured with one of the best carbons on the world market, UHMC (Ultra High Modulus Carbon), a carbon that guarantees the combination of lightness, power, sensitivity and has a “hellish” flexural resistance. Both models come with fuji K dowels and Fuji reel holders.

We have created these 2 models in order to cover the general needs of this modality. The 187S model has a vertical action of 100-250 grams with a curve test of 12 kg., and the most powerful model, the 182S has a vertical action of 150-400 grams and a curve test of 15 kg.
